Methodically 13 performance indicators, grouped into five (weighted) areas, have been used for evaluating universities performances:

• Teaching (30 per cent)
• Research (30 per cent)
• Citations (30 per cent)
• Industry income (2.5 per cent)
• International outlook (7.5 per cent)
