Studying at the University of Göttingen with Erasmus+

The University of Göttingen has been cooperating with numerous European partner universities for many years. Thousands of Erasmus+ students spent part of their study in Göttingen. Many of them enjoy looking back to their positive experience regarding the academic and student life. They still feel connected with our University and town.

The International Office and the competent programme coordinators at the faculties do everything possible to support the students and prepare them for their Erasmus+ stay.

If you are interested in an Erasmus+ exchange at the University of Göttingen, please get informed first at your home university whether there is a cooperation with the University of Göttingen in your field of study. Then you can apply for an exchange place according to the rules of your home university.

Application procedures:
After you have been officially nominated by your home university you can apply online for the study in Göttingen using the following link:
https://immatrikulation.zvw.uni-goettingen.de/partnerschaften.html

After entering your data you will get a personal enrolment number. Please print out the application form, sign it and let it be signed by the coordinator of your home university so that we know that you have been nominated officially. You can send the form directly to Ms Xiaoting He per mail (xiaoting.he@zvw.uni-goettingen.de).

As soon as we have received your online application form you will be admitted to the University of Göttingen and receive a Welcome Package with information about further steps in order to get well prepared for your stay.
