Following the 2014/ 2015 winter semester, 311 students graduated from the Faculty of Business and Economics. 105 of them were awarded their final grades by study dean Professor Dr. Gerhard Rübel on June 5, 2015 as part of festivities in the university auditorium on Wilhelmsplatz.

The Faculty has also awarded the "Florenz Sartorius Prize" to the top graduates from the Business Administration, Economics, Business and Human Resource Education and Business Information Systems programmes to recognise their exceptional performance. Into the bargain, two additional dissertation prizes are awarded in the spring for the best dissertations from the Business Administration Department and the Economics Department. The prizes are endowed by Göttingen's Sartorius AG.

• Business Administration: Christine Kaufmann (Master of Science in Finance, Accounting and Taxes)
• Economics: Felix Schafmeister (Bachelor of Arts in Economics)
• Business Information Systems: Sebastian Steiner (Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems)
• Business and Human Resource Education: Hilke Weimeier (Master of Education in Business and Human Resource Education)

Dissertation prizes:

• Department of Business Administration: Dr. Nico Lehmann (Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Jörg-Markus Hitz)
• Department of Economics: Dr. Jörg König (Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Renate Ohr) and Dr. Malte Reimers (Prof. Stephan Klasen, PhD) are sharing the prize.
