Mia Liinason, PhD (Summer term 2016)
Mia Liinason was visiting professor at the Göttingen Diversity Research Institute in the Summer Semester of 2016.
Mia Liinason is Wallenberg Academy Fellow and Senior Lecturer in Gender Studies at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden). She has carried out research on feminist political engagement in activism, academy and policy. Currently, Mia is starting up a new research project on transnational women's and LGBT-struggles in contemporary Russia, Turkey and Scandinavia. She has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Gender Studies, Lund University, a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Gender Excellence, Linköping/Örebro University and a visiting fellow at the Gender Institute, the London School of Economics and Political Science.
