Southern Lower Saxony has a diverse and excellent scientific landscape. "Our goal is to strengthen the role of the universities in the region as drivers of innovation," says Prof. Dr. Kilian Bizer. He co-initiated the SNIC and works closely with the SNIC Office under the direction of Mascha Albrecht in his role as project coordinator.

By measures such as targeted search for application-related research results, financial and personnel support for technology consultancy aimed at small and medium sized regional companies as well as a wide range of training and qualification offers for innovative minds, the SNIC contributes to the realisation of the innovative potential between the Harz Mountains and the Weser Valley.
