Additional online-ressources for musicologists during the corona crisis
Due to the closure of institute library and SUB, students and staff have limited access to physical media. Some publishers and databases have opened their online services during the time of the corona crisis.
The SUB informs here about all the new online resources.
Music-related services among them are:
- RILM Abstracts of Music Literature with full text (link works from the university network or via vpn-connection into the university network)
Musicology's biggest international bibiographical database. ("Répértoire internationale de literature musicale"), contains many full texts too. Free access until 31 May 2020.
RILM is also a part of the multidisciplinary database Academic Search Ultimate by EBSCO. Free access until 31 July 2020.

Connect to the university network via vpn-client to facilitate online access to resources. Thus, log in with SUB-credentials is no more required. Information on the installation is provided by the gwdg.

We especially stress the access to online resources via the FID (Fachinformationsdienst) Musikwissenschaft. This national licence program for musicologists can be found via the central research platform of German musicology, musiconn. All students can register for access of the FID-resources (See the explanation of registration procedure for non-members of the Gesellschaft für Musikforschung here). The included resources are:
