Alumni Accolade - Nominations Open

The SIA Alumni Accolade is the highest honour and reconignition awarded to SIA Alumni. Since 2019 the Accolade is awarded to alumni who have has shown “outstanding achievements by contributing to sustainable international agriculture and development”.

Eligibility - Who can Apply?
• Graduate individual or group from either SIA/TIA/IARD/IOA (SIA Alumni) University of Kassel & Goettingen masters programs.
• Individual or group from SIA Alumni.
• Must be a registered member on the SIA Alumni Network.

SIA Alumni Accolade Criteria
• Nominee/ or team of alumni shown outstanding achievements by contributing to sustainable international agriculture and development.
• Worked and developed on the core alumni value: Impact.

Application Process
1. Nominations open till September 15. Nominate someone from SIA Alumni or apply as yourself/ or team today. Applicants will be notified via email that they were successfully submitted application.
2. Applications will be reviewed by a panel.
3. Applications will be notified first weeks of October on the results (possible interviews will take place).
4. The SIA Alumni Accolade will be announced end of October.


Last year recipient Mr. Sagemüller (SIA 2010) received the 2019 Inaugural SIA Alumni Accolade for his dedication for socio entrepreneurship and promoting sustainable agriculture in Cambodia.
