Content:
This Master seminar has a focus on current and future IT-driven developments at different organizational levels. A special focus is on relationships between well-established businesses getting challenged by emerging digital technologies. Topics include digital business strategy and business models, digital innovation, architectures and platforms, which will be discussed through theoretical lenses originating from organization science, financial economics and information systems. The topics will be further explored by applying quantitative or qualitative research methods.Learning goals:
- Understand and apply methods to write structured literature reviews.
- Understand and evaluate the role of digital technologies and information technologies in business contexts.
- Analyze current IT trends and relate them to existing theoretical concepts.
- Understand and apply quantitative or qualitative research methods.
