Valeriia Hulkovych

Since October 2021, Valeriia Hulkovych has been a research assistant at the Chair of Political Science/ Didactics of Politics.

She studied Political Science at the University of Wrocław in Poland from 2015-2018 with a focus on Global Security. As part of her Bachelor's thesis, she investigated the causes and perspectives of the Catalonian independence movement. From 2018 to 2021, she studied political science at the University of Göttingen (specialization: global and regional governance). As part of her Master's thesis, she analyzed change of opinion on the European Union in Scotland and Northern Ireland.


At the Chair of Political Science/Didactics of Politics, Ms Hulkovych supports the team in the following projects: Feasibility Study for a Monitoring of Civic Education in Germany as well as Students’ Assessment of Online Credibility.
