Project video
How can the climate transition succeed? What framework do politics and law provide? What are the challenges and limits? How can citizens be better involved? These are the questions we explored together with a group of citizens from Göttingen. Our project was intended to break new ground methodically and to generate scientific findings on citizen participation in a practical test. The core of the project was to let citizens experience the specific problem-solving strategies, advantage and problems of politics and law in the field of climate transition in two simulations. From their experiences, we gained impulses for science and practice, which are summarized in an impulse paper. Citizen participation is thus both the topic and the method of the project, which was based on political science and law.
