Advanced module "Bioinformatics" (12 C, 20 SWS) [M.Bio.320]

Learning outcome, core skills
The student shows the ability to perform a bioinformatical project independently. Objective of this projects can be the development and analysis of bioinformatical software tools, the automation of data processing or the analysis of biological data with bioinformatical techniques.


Courses and examinations
Lab course: 9 weeks, full-time
Attend seminar of the department

Prerequisites for examination:

  • active participation at 75 % of the seminars of the department
  • scientific presentation and discussion of obtained results (in form of a protocol)

    • Examinations: oral examination (ca. 30 minutes)
