Barrier-free access to Göttingen University

Göttingen University strives to make studying and everyday student life as barrier-free as possible. On principle, all new major building projects are designed barrier-free, and this also applies to most of the less extensive renovation and modernisation projects. However, not all facilities are ideal for this purpose: many of the new buildings on the central campus and in the northern part of the University are barrier-free and wheelchair-accessible. But some of the old buildings near the city centre can only be entered via stairs.

The information about barrier-free access to Göttingen University is documented in our Digital Campus Map.
