Summer School 2023: Digital Competences for Future Teachers

The 2023 BEST Exchange Summer School is scheduled for August 5th until August 18th 2023.
5 students per partner university in Europe can apply for the program.

Target group: student teachers of all subjects (Bachelor, Master and other)

Module: B.Erz.920 Teacher Training Plus - Creative Module, 4 Credits

Schedule:
• Online meeting in July 2023 (scheduled with the participants)
• 05.-06.08. Arrival in Göttingen (with pre-Summer School program)
• 07.-17.08. Program in Göttingen (Workshops, Lectures, School visits)
• 18.08. Departure from Göttingen

Content: Students explore the topic of digital competence in the context of school. In international small groups, they develop presentations on a school-relevant topic of their own choice. During the visit to Göttingen, there are team-building measures, observation at Göttingen schools which use digital tools and excursions to places of blended learning in the region (the Universities Museum Forum Wissen and the Harz).

Learning Goal: Student teachers...
- Develop their digital competences for teaching through input in keynotes and work-shops as well as international group work
- reflect on their view of school, education and the teaching profession
- learn to use digital resources for their own teaching

Registration: for Göttingen students through Stud.IP, for partners via the respective Erasmus Coordinators.
