SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am very interested in how genes are regulated on a post-transcriptional level. Therefore, I would like to investigate how RNAs are modified, transported and how their translation is influenced in order to achieve highly regulated expression of genes. I am also interested in many other processes within the cell such as protein modification, vesicle transport and cellular response to stress.
