Gözde Böcü

Gözde Böcü is a Ph.D. Student of Political Science at the University of Toronto with interests in comparative democratization and authoritarianism, immigration, and comparative constitutional studies. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, Gözde was a Research Fellow at the Humboldt University of Berlin researching for the Chair of Comparative Politics' project "Research Lab: Constitutional Politics in Turkey". Awarded by the German National Merit Foundation (Studienstiftung) and the German Exchange Foundation (DAAD), Gözde has studied at the Humboldt University of Berlin, the Middle East Technical University (Ankara) and at the University of Toronto. She holds a B.A. in Social Science and a M.A. in Political Science from Humboldt University. She is the Co-Editor in Chief of the "University of Toronto Journal for Political Science".
