Graduation Classes of 2020
In the winter semester 2019/ 2020, 469 students of the Faculty of Business and Economics successfully completed their studies, among them 272 Bachelor and 197 Master students. 27 PhD students successfully completed their doctorates in 2019. Of the 442 graduates in the summer semester 2020, 272 also hold a Bachelor's and 170 a Master's degree.
Unfortunately, due to the corona pandemic, no celebrations "in presence" could be held. Therefore a short "alternative celebration" was streamed live (link to YouTube) from the auditorium on 11 December 2020 (in German).
In cooperation with Sartorius AG, however, the Florenz Sartorius Prizes were awarded. The Faculty of Business and Economics awards the "Florenz Sartorius Prize" to the best graduates in the disciplines of business administration, economics, business and human resource education and business information systems as an award for outstanding academic achievements. Once a year (usually always within the framework of the spring ceremony) this graduate prize is also awarded for outstanding doctorates from the Faculty of Business and Economics: On the one hand for the best doctorate in the field of "Business Administration, Business Information Systems or Business and Human Resource Education", on the other hand for the best dissertation in the field of "Economics, Statistics, Econometrics or Economic and Social History".
"Congratulations to the Göttingen 'WiWis' on graduating in 2020. All the best and good luck for the future!"
