Soil chemical exercise

Students will learn the different acid-base concepts (Arrhenius, Bronsted, Lewis), colorimetric determinations of Fe and Al concentrations and the simultaneous Titrationsbestimmung of Al3 + and H +. They also learn the application of soil chemical equilibrium models (inorganic complexation, salt precipitation, cation exchange) and the concept of different proton buffer areas (carbonate, silicate, exchange, Al-Fe41 and buffer areas).

The internship depth knowledge of soil chemistry.
Objectives are to learn basics of soil sampling, ground handling, ground storage and analysis of soil samples (saturation extracts, percolation, outcrops, expulsion of gases).
