Call for papers: Genderlabor

The Göttingen Centre for Gender Studies is asking for contributions to their „gender laboratory" in the summer semester, a lecture series for BA, MA or PhD students giving presentations on their research. This semester, it will happen in the "Hafenzimmer", an alternative queer space on Gotmarstraße.

If you would like to submit an application, please send an application with
· your name
· your study program
· the title of your presentation and
· a short abstract (not more than 400 words)

U4 Workshop "Concetps and Tools in Cultural Transfer Research"

A workshop by the U4 Network on the subject of "Concepts and Tools in Cultural Transfer Research" will take place on 17th May 2019. Interested junior academics who research on travel literature are cordially invited to apply for the Call for Paper until 15th April 2019.


43rd International Wolfenbüttel Summer Course 14th-27th July 2019

The Die Herzog-August library organises from the 14th to the 27th of July 2019 the 43rd International Wolfenbüttel Summer Course. The topic of the English-speaking event will be "Cultural Translation" and will be convened by Dr Doris Medick-Bachmann.
