Mentoringprogramm „WeWiMento – Wege ins Wissenschaftsmanagement“

Start: April 2023; Application deadline: February 15 - until March 15, 2023 (German-language program)

The one-year mentoring program provides insights into the diverse professional field of science management and includes one-to-one mentoring as well as job shadowing in different organizational units of the university, workshops, and networking opportunities.
All PhD students of the Göttingen Campus can apply for participation. All information about WeWiMento can be found here.

call for participation in the Three-Minute Thesis competition in March 2023

Can you present the core message of your doctoral thesis in just three minutes and with only one static slide? Can you explain your research to a group of lay people – in English? And finally, are you interested in a trip to Cologne in June 2023? Then this is something for you! We are pleased to announce that the Coimbra Group Three-Minute Thesis (CG 3MT) competition in Göttingen will be held again in March 2023. Detailed information and application procedures for participation will be available in the December. Application will be open in January – so please stay tuned.


Dorothea Schlözer Mentoring Program

Application deadline: November 30, 2022

Under the umbrella of the Dorothea Schlözer Program, the University of Göttingen has been offering a mentoring program for young female scientists at the Göttingen Campus since 2011. The aim is to provide structured career advice and support to women who aspire to an academic career. The mentoring program runs for one year and starts in March 2023.
