General meeting
June 22, 2021, 2 PM to 3.30 PM, zoom

In addition to an annual report from the office regarding initiatives and activities of the GSGG, the general meeting also has to elect the doctoral candidate representatives to the board. As always, we will kindly insist in the run-up to the general meeting so that enough doctoral candidates come together for the election to take place. Details will follow in due course.

Save the Date: GSGG Day 2021
November 4, 2021, 4 PM, zoom

Our GSGG Day will take place on Thursday, November 4, 2021. After we were only able to carry out a shortened online version last year due to the Corona pandemic, the insights into the humanities shall take place again this year from 4:00 p.m. - even if we are again assuming a virtual event for this year.

Immediately after the insights into the humanities, the evening reception will take place with the awarding of the Christian-Gottlob-Heyne-Award for the best humanities doctorate of the past year.
Of course, we all wish that the general situation in November would allow us to celebrate the GSGG Day safely together. In that case, the insights into the humanities and the subsequent festivities will take place from 4:00 p.m. in the Hannah-Vogt- and Emmy-Noether-Hall in the "Alte Mensa" conference and event centre on Wilhelmsplatz.

We would be very happy if you were interested in enriching our insights into the humanities with a short lecture and/or a poster!

To register, please send us this form, completed, by April 30, 2021. The GSGG will print the posters.
