Background information:

The design of organizational structure and the management of organizational change are key success factors for a company to survive in a dynamic competitive environment in the long run. Recent restructuring measures or internationalization efforts of well-known companies illustrate the high practical relevance of organizational design and change.

In the lecture Organizational Design and Change you will learn the essential concepts and design parameters of the organization and their effects. For example, concepts such as group work, project organization or business process organization are discussed. Furthermore, you will learn concrete instruments (tools) of organizational design and change management. These include, among others, overhead value analysis, Six Sigma or Appreciative Inquiry.
