SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Although I am interested in a broad range of subjects within the molecular biosciences, I find host-pathogen interactions most intriguing. The possibility of understanding the outcome of an infection by studying the balance between host protection strategies, invasion and evasion mechanisms adopted by one microbe indeed fascinates me.
