Christoph Kleinn

Christoph Kleinn is head of the Chair of Forest Inventory and Remote Sensing of the Burckhardt Institute at the Faculty of Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology. His main interests are in the fields of (i) sampling techniques and remote sensing for forest monitoring, (ii) monitoring techniques for the tree resource outside the forest and non-timber forest products, and (iii) carbon monitoring and (iv) biodiversity monitoring and habitat suitability analysis.

Key expertise:
• Sampling statistics
• Remote sensing for forestry applications
• Large area monitoring of forest and tree resources
