Jessé Souza is Professor for Sociology at Sorbonne University, Paris I, (September 2019 - September 2020) and Professor of Sociology at UFABC, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Besides a focus on general sociology, he is mainly interested in theoretical and empirical studies about social inequality. The interview was conducted by Maria Pohn-Lauggas and Gabriele Rosenthal in the form of a written exchange at the end of October 2019.
