Research Report of the Center for European, Governance and Development Research (July 2019)

The Center for European, Governance and Development Research (cege) deals with the research of European and global economic structures, with economic incentive effects in the national and international environment, and with growth and development processes in developed and underdeveloped countries. Interdisciplinary research should identify economic structures and laws as well as interest groups in order to find ways to combine what is desirable in welfare theory with what is feasible in economic policy.

The common denominator of cege's research activities is the investigation of institutional framework conditions on private and collective decisions (governance). To this end, the behavioural theoretical foundations that form the connecting element between the regulatory framework and decision-making are explicitly problematized. Current research work by cege members is regularly published in the "cege Report".

The July issue includes the following publications:

  • The role of LDC-specific trade preferences and LDC status in promoting LDCs’ exports: Dr. Felicitas Nowak-Lehmann, Ibero-America Institute (Faculty of Business and Economics)
