There are loads of tough challenges and burning questions when you start working on a thesis. We want to help you finding answers.

We supervise sociological theses – may they have an empirical, theoretical or methodological focus, and also if they are mainly based on literature reviews.

Empirical and methodological theses are welcome in the areas of interpretative social research, ethnographic fieldwork**, interaction- and video analysis, family- and biographical research and discourse analysis. We are also interested in the combination/ triangulation of methods

  • Migration and forced migration
  • Xenophobia and racism
  • Transgenerational impact of collective pasts and collective memory
