The "Kyiv National Economic University (KNEU)" was founded in 1906 and was originally known as the "College of Economics?, before being renamed to the "National Economic University of Kiev" in 1992. However, the university is occasionally referred to as the Wadym Hetman University, in honor of the famed politician and financial expert. The university has around 15,000 students (including 280 international students), spread across 10 faculties. The KNEU offers a number of interesting master programs, including some that are taught completely in English. Some of the main research areas include:

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration only offers exchange students the possibility to apply for the Master of Financial Controlling. Both Bachelor and Master students wanting to spend a semester abroad in Kiew, and who have a particular interest in the financial sector can apply for the programme during the winter semester (September to January).

Please note that this master course requires previous knowledge in financial controlling, however applicants with advanced bachelor level knowledge are also welcome to apply. This course is not available to exchange students during the summer semester (February to June), as this time is normally allocated for local students to write their theses.
