SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

Within the broad field of molecular biology I am particularly interest in oncology research. The complexity and the numerous unanswered questions make me want to work in this area in the future. In addition, systems biology seems to become a novel solution to many biological questions. Therefore, I consider the combination of computer-based simulations and laboratory experiments a powerful tool to address the biological complexity we witness in cancer research.
