Functional and Dysfunctional Brain Networks

The brain is modularly organized in areas that preferentially work together forming networks. For mastering our daily challenges, the networks should be able to properly communicate and dynamically interact. But when impairments in this system occur, will we ever be able to reliably identify the problem and fix it? Is decoding the system itself a precondition to achieve this goal? How complex can this decoding be? Can it be used as a master key for all brains or has each brain its own type of key?
These are questions that I frequently ask myself and that I wish to use as a starting point to this talk.
