The Göttingen Centre for Digital Humanities (GCDH) is a cross-faculty institution that coordinates, carries out, and further develops research, teaching, and infrastructure activities at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in the field of Digital Humanities.

Digital Humanities, sometimes called Humanities Computing or eHumanities, is the area of study, research, teaching, and invention concerned with the intersection of computing and the disciplines of the Humanities. In the case of the GCDH, however, the area of intersection is extended to include Law, Economics, and the Social Sciences.
