Winter Term 2019/20



The seminar is practice-oriented and includes the development and documentation of an IS-artifact or prototype. Existing programming skills are not mandatory. The basic programming skills will be learned during the seminar. The development process of IS-artifacts will be traversed and the identification and use of proper programming tools and techniques will also be learned in the course.
The creation of the prototype will be done in groups of 2. The examination contains three components: documentation, presentation of the artifact, and presentation/discussion of the code and the developing process.

Please do only apply when you are available at both kick-off meeting and final presentation. No exceptions (e.g. study term abroad, other appointments, holidays, etc.) will be permitted.

      Summer Term 2019



      The seminar is practice-oriented. Starting this summer term, we offer both theoretical and conceptual subtopics as well as topics that include the development and documentation of an IS-artifact / prototype. Accordingly, existing programming skills are not mandatory. Regarding the technical subtopics, basic programming skills can be acquired during the seminar if necessary. The development process of IS-artifacts will be traversed and the identification and use of proper programming tools and techniques can also be learned during the course.
      The seminar will be carried out in groups of 2. The examination contains three components: documentation, presentation of the results, and a deep dive session with the supervisor(s) (a detailed presentation/discussion of the results, the methodology and - if applicable - the code and prototype).

The development process of IS-artifacts will be traversed and the identification and use of proper programming tools and techniques will also be learned in the course.
              The creation of the prototype will be done in groups of 2. The project should be suggested by the students themselves - according to the topic of the seminar. The examination contains three components: documentation, presentation of the artifact, and presentation/discussion of the code and the developing process.
