An excursion to Berlin for student of the IARD-program took place on December 1./2. 2011. The main objective of the excursion was the actual draft for a reform of the "Common Agricultural Policy of the EU (CAP). The group visited different institution and tried to get the different views on the topics:

1.) The Federal Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection
2.) The German Raiffeisen Association, Dr. Volker Petersen
3.) German Farmers Association, Dr. Peter Pascher
4.) Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (Nabu e.V.), Florian Schöne
5.) MGP Viola von Cramon-Taubadel, The Greens

The groupe also visited the "Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ)" and the German Historical Museum, and the group could receive a tour in the German Parliament, the "Reichstag".
