How To Reach The "Alte Mensa"
Directions by foot
To reach the "Alte Mensa" by foot:
- Follow the exit in the the direction of "Zentrum" (city centre)
- Out of the hall you reach a plaza. Walk to the street ("Berliner Straße"), turn right and cross the Berliner Straße at the traffic light.
- Follow the street in front of you ("Goethe-Allee") for 1.1 km until the Weender Straße crosses. There should be a statue of three people.
- Turn right and follow the Weender Straße until the next street on the left ("Barfüßerstraße").
- Turn left and follow the Barfüßerstraße until you reach a plaza ("Wilhelmsplatz") on the left.
- The building in the right corner is your destination.

Directions by Car
Except for Sundays, all parking spaces in central Göttingen require a parking ticket. As the maximum duration of the parking tickets is four hours and all hotels are within walking distance, we strongly recommend you park your car at your hotel. You can reach the "Alte Mensa" by foot or by public transport if necessary.For parking on Sunday the next available large public parking space is Albaniplatz.
