University of Goettingen hosts Germany's largest and most internationally visible concentration of development economics researchers. The research-oriented master programs in Development Economics (Dev) and International Agribusiness and Rural Development (IARD) offer a comprehensive study program with emphasis in Rural and Agricultural Development. The main partner in this agreement is the Faculty of Economics in Medellin. This partner institution will support the planned program in their respective region by encouraging students to participate in planned courses and workshops and by collaborating in research.
