Section Forest Ecosystems Research

The Section coordinates inter- and transdisciplinary research on forest ecosystems and their environment at the University of Göttingen and beyond.

Currently the scope is on climate change effects on forests, decision support systems for forestry in a changing climate, forest management and the water cycle, energy wood production, and suppport and restoration of biodiversity in forests (see more detailed information under the "projects" link).
