Center of Methods in Social Sciences

The Center of Methods in Social Sciences was founded in 2000 as an interdisciplinary institute at the Faculty of Social Sciences. It is meant to help with questions and problems concerning empirical social research. One of the main tasks of the Center in addition to the accomplishment of its own research projects is to guarantee the well-grounded education for the students in methods of Social Sciences. Besides the Center of Methods offers consultation and support with empirical research projects. In order to provide a broad range of methods in Social Sciences the Center is staffed with a professorship for qualitative as well as for quantitative methods. more...
