Building on its traditional strength in international and European law and to further international exchange in the study of law, the Faculty of Law of the University of Göttingen has established a doctoral programme entitled Public International Law: Human Rights International Economic and Environmental Law International Criminal Law to provide outstanding young graduates in international law with an opportunity to receive additional training along with writing their dissertation with the advice of the four supervisors, namely professors Kai Ambos, Andreas Paulus, Anja Seibert-Fohr and Peter-Tobias Stoll. The three year programme includes classes in the different areas of international law as well as a variety of courses organized by the Göttingen Graduate School of Social Sciences. Starting in fall 2015, the programme will accept candidates annually.
