Shaping Your Future - Career Planning in Academia
What does it take to become a professor (in Germany)? What are key qualifications and skills? Are there other career paths in Academia (and beyond)? The workshop addresses these and other questions concerning career development in Science and thus supports participants in developing an idea of who they are professionally. Based on personal values, skill sets and qualifications we build a frame of reference for career decisions.

Trainer: Dr. Neela Enke
Dr Neela Enke holds a doctorate in Biology and has over 10 years experience as a researcher and team leader in several European research institutions. She is also a coach for research and administrative staff, professors, team leaders and teams. As a trainer she offers workshops on career development in research, leadership, as well as diversity and conflict management. She is a trained mediator with a focus on conflicts in research organisations.
