Forschungsinteressen

My research focuses on the investigation of the relationships between biodiversity and habitat characteristic observed by remote sensing such as airborne laser scanning and synthetic aperture radar (e.g., Sentinel-1). I am particularly interested in analyzing how (3-D) spatial and temporal heterogeneity influence biodiversity depending on land use, traits, spatial scale, and multiple aspects of diversity.
