Documents for the application

1. The application form (Word 2007 docx) (see below-mentioned links) including the following mandatory information: statement on previously successful, unsuccessful or not yet completed master's degree programs, choice of the module package amounting to 36 ECTS points or the two module packages amounting to 18 ECTS points each and, if applicable, registration for a supplementary oral examination.

2. (BA) degree certificate or degree certificates of the applicant in the form of certified copies or certified German or English translations if the originals are not in English or German.

3. CV in German or English with a meaningful representation of the education as well as a current photo.

4. Documentation of sufficient German language skills, if the applicant is not a native speaker of German.

5. Appropriate documentation to prove specific skills for the chosen MA program if special access requirements have been defined.

6. Usually to be submitted additionally when the final grade or average grade of the previous examination totaling at least 150 ECTS points ranged from 2.6 to 3.0: an exposé on the reasons to study and to reflect on previous academic experience as a basis for the supplementary oral examination. The application to participate in the oral examination is done via the application form (see point 1).

Placement in a higher semester
If you apply for a placement in a higher semester of a master's degree program (with a planned relocation to Göttingen), further documentation of respective studies and/or appropriate credit certificates must be included.
