The Foundation Council is composed of members of the Foundation's University Committee and Medicine Committee. It is responsible in matters which concern the entire University including University Medicine and it here takes the place of the Foundation's University Committee or Medicine Committee respectively.

The Foundation Council is composed of

• The members of the University Foundation Committee
• The members of the Medical School Foundation Committee

The meetings of the Foundation Council are attended in advisory capacity by the members of the Presidential Board, the members of the Management Board Medical School, the chairpersons of the University's and the Medical School's Staff Councils, the Equal Opportunity Officers of the University and Medical School, and a representative of the student body.
