Recognition of academic achievement conducted abroad

In close cooperation with the "Professionalisierung der Studiendekanate (Professionalisation of Dean of Studies’ Offices)" project, proficiency training concerning regulations for the recognition of academic achievement conducted abroad is being carried out to familiarise the faculties with this issue. The creation of an overview web page for the entire university is currently under way, to make the recognition procedure in the faculties much more transparent for students as well as for lecturers and (foreign) study advisers, thus contributing substantially to better recognition practice. Another aim is to initiate discussions within the faculties concerning improvement/standardisation of their recognition procedures on the basis of the existing variations in representations and procedures.
