International research workshop addressing digitalization in supply chains and logistics

The Chair of Production and Logistics has invited research associates, PhD and master students at the Faculty of Business and Economics to an international research workshop addressing digitalization in supply chains and logistics („Digital Supply Chains and the Human Factor“). It took place on December 10 and 11, 2018. Guest researchers from the universities in Amsterdam, Bologna and Trier came to Göttingen. Into the bargain, the companies Bohnen Logsitics / Duisport Group Duisburg, Mahr Göttingen as well as REWE Logistics Munich were participating in the programme as enclosed (Research Forum 2018 Final.pdf). Prof. Dr. Thomas Kneib, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, welcomed the participants.

Company visit for students
Into the bargain, the Chair of Production and Logistics offered an interesting company visit for students with the Mahr corporation in Göttingen on December 11, 2018. Mahr is a leading expert supplier for precision measurement and production technology. Since 150 years, Mahr is setting standards in the aircraft, medicine and automotive industry production contexts.
