Qualification Forum

The Equal Opportunities Office is engaged in further training of university staff on the basis of gender equality. The courses are developed and carried out in tailor-made manner for different target groups at the University:

  • Career management for cooperation partbers
  • Professionalisation of decentralised equal opportunities officers
  • Online coaching for postdocs
  • Gender competence for students

These are examples of the courses on offer.

Courses funded through tuition fees constitute a focus of the Qualification Forum. These courses are designed for students who wish to:

  • further enhance their key qualifications (e.g. presentation, moderation) for university studies and professional life,
  • extend their personal teaching potential as a tutor,
  • receive impulses for their own career,
  • learn gender-related strategies and possibilities for action,
  • reflect on their own attitude to the compatibility of work and family life, and
  • in general establish contacts and extend their networks.

Both women and men are invited to take part in the courses – provided that the gender proportions are in balance.

The courses are designed according to applicants’ needs. Please make enquiries!

On request we can also arrange for child care during seminars: please contact us to make arrangements.

The courses are organised in small groups of 12 to 20 persons.

In the case of courses funded out of tuition fees no course charges are incurred to students. Fees may, however, have to be paid for participation in other seminars.
