Featuring more than 2,000 species within an area of about 40ha this institution is one of the most comprehensive and diverse collections specialising in woody plants in the German-speaking region.

On our web pages you will find some interesting information on the location, history, mission, plant inventory, and botanical highlights of the Forest Botanical Garden and Arboretum. The Arboretum hosts a collection of woody species organized into geographic regions: Caucasus and Asia Minor, China, Japan, Korea, and North America.
