The Library of the Mathematical Institute is centered on the first floor in the main building of the department. There is a large reading room and also a small discussion room.

Books and journals can only be lend for copying inside the Mathematics Department. The online catalogue is available on the right side column. It can be accessed however via a special terminal inside the library.

Every thursday during the term there is an exhibition of new publications before the weekly colloquium of the Mathematische Gesellschaft in the Schlauch. During the term breaks they can be seen in the back part of the library. There is also the collection of the latest issues of journals. There is a large collection of historical lecture notes. It is possible to copy parts of them. Please consult the administration of the library.
