The Welcome Centre is a service facility for international mobile researchers and academics at the Georg-August-University in Göttingen. We will gladly assist and support you in getting established and preparing for your stay here in Göttingen.

We provide research, information, and targeted assistance with respect to all areas and topics that are important for your stay in
Göttingen.

Additionally we offer Dual Career Service for newly appointed professors. You are welcome to contact us with your questions and avail yourself of our support.

In the third round of Welcome Centres' competition for cosmopolitan universities in Germany, initiated by Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Deutsche Telekom Foundation, and Stifteverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft, the Welcome Centre of the Georg-August-University was awarded a prize.
