Recent Research Activities:

April 2011-March 2014: Conducting research on the illicit traffic of Cambodian artefacts and restitution, interdisciplinary cultural property research project, ‘The Constituting of Cultural Property: Actors, Discourses, Contexts, Rules’, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
Feb. 2009-March 2011: Conducted an anthropological research on Angkor World Heritage Site, interdisciplinary cultural property research project, ‘The Constituting of Cultural Property: Actors, Discourses, Contexts, Rules’, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
2007-2008: Conducted a research, ‘Tourism Development in Angkor: Its Impacts on Local Communities and Subsequent Changes in the Livelihood Strategies of Local Villagers’ with Funding from Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, Promotion Research of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).
August, 2006: Participated in a research project led by Professor Tadashi Ebisawa (Japanese historian) on Cambodian wet-rice culture with funding from Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, Foundation Research (B)(2) of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS)
