| Beschreibung | Abstract: Frames can be considered as generalized orthonormal bases, and lead to convenient expansions of the elements in the underlying Hilbert space. We will give a short introduction to frame theory in Hilbert spaces, with focus on their operator theoretical characterizations. This will be followed by a discussion of frame representations in terms of iterated operator systems, which is a topic of current interest. Several open problems will be presented. |
