| Beschreibung | The EU Office at the University of Göttingen will offer an event on the "European Research Council (ERC) - EU-Funding for Consolidating (CoG) Researchers" on 25 October 2019 from 09:30 to 12:00 a.m. at Taberna, Alte Mensa (Wilhelmsplatz 3, 37073 Göttingen). ERC Consolidator Grants are awarded to excellent scientists (7 - 12 years after PhD), who want to consolidate their own independent research group. The ERC's mission is to promote the highest quality research in Europe by offering ERC‐funding schemes that are “investigator‐driven” or "bottom‐up" thus allowing researchers a great degree of flexibility to identify new opportunities and directions in any field of research. ERC grants are awarded through open competition. The sole criterion is scientific excellence. Researchers and scholars in all academic disciplines are invited to attend. Please, register by 18 October 2019. Presentations will be held in English. Please note that the EU Office will offer another event on ERC Advanced Grants and ERC Synergy Grants in January 2020. Another event on ERC Starting Grants will follow in March 2020. |
