Structural dynamics of (bio)chemical systems. Structure-function-relationship of light-activated micro- and macromolecular assemblies and complexes. Nanoconfined chemistry. Determination of structural mechanistical features of chemical / light-triggered processes applying time-resolved x-ray crystallography and scattering techniques.
