Major Research Interests
I am interested in experimental and theoretical aspects of pattern formation in colonies of Dictysotelium discoideum cells:
- Flow-driven instabilities
- Phase-locked patterns in the presence of external pulses of cAMP
- Theoretical modeling and numerical simulations of flow-driven instabilities:
-Actin-based motility
-Computational models for cell motility and cell morphology
-Artificial cilia and cilia-driven motility
